SANHS 2017 Archaeology Day

March 4, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

The annual SANHS Archaeology Day will take place at Wells Museum on March 4, 2017.

 The keynote speech will be given after lunch by Chris Webster talking about the “New Discoveries at the Taunton Museum” during the Museum of Somerset refurbishment.

Other speakers include:

Richard Brunning – Beckery Chapel excavation.
Bob Croft – St John’s Hospital, Bridgwater.
Barry Lane – the Westbury lead pig.
Liz Caldwell – Mick Aston’s Young Archaeologists.

The conference will last all day and is open to all. The cost is £15 per person which includes tea and coffee. Lunch is not included.
