Please note that with the coronavirus outbreak we consider your health and safety to be of paramount importance.  We are following government advice and all physical events are cancelled until further notice.

We are starting a series of lectures by zoom in the New Year.  These are open to all.
They are free to members but we would ask for a voluntary donation from non-members.
Details of how to do this are here on the membership page.

If you have any questions about events or any other matter, then please contact the Secretary, Elizabeth Friend
friend.elizabeth@gmail.com or tel 01934712971

AALHS is a friendly society who welcomes new members.

We hold a series of talks throughout the winter months, given by experts in their field, and have walks and visits during the summer to places of interest.  Winter meetings are normally held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Cross Memorial Hall.  As a member you will receive a free monthly newsletter, a periodic Journal and have access to to the extensive Society library.

Non members are always welcome to our meetings, although we do ask for a small voluntary donation of £3.

If you’re interested in archaeology or just want to know more about the history of your local area, then please come along to one of our meetings and join us.
