AALHS is a friendly society who welcomes new members.

We hold a series of talks throughout the winter months, given by experts in their field, and have walks and visits during the summer to places of interest.  Winter meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Cross Memorial Hall.
As a member you will receive a free monthly newsletter and periodic Journal and have access to to the extensive Society library.

Non members are always welcome to our meetings, although we do ask for a small donation of £3.

If you’re interested in archaeology or just want to know more about the history of your local area, then please come along to one of our meetings and join us.
