18^th century exploration of Hutton Cave found the bones of elephant, crocodile and hippopotamus. The exact location of this cave was subsequently lost.

In his talk on Hutton, Alan will describe attempts to locate the cave in Hutton and will invite the audience to assess whether his conclusions are valid.
