The morning will feature a panel of speakers on topical subjects and recent new discoveries in the county:
Bridgwater Gateway excavations
Dating Saxon pottery from Chewton Mendip Minster
Excavations at Bowden’s Quarry, Langport
Medieval site at St Cleers, Somerton

After lunch our keynote speaker, Dr Laura Basell will talk about her research on early humans and landscapes at Doniford.
